Legal Aid is now universally available subject to a financial contribution made payable to the Legal Aid Agency.

​If however, your disposable income is in excess of £37,500 then you are no longer eligible to obtain Legal Aid in Crown Court cases.   The rates for Crown Court matters are exceptionally varied and we therefore recommend that you contact us for a tailored quote once we  have had an opportunity to review your papers.
